- thundergolfer 4y agoI don't know where I first came across these photos of historic computers, but I think they're beautifully done. I hadn't even heard of the Connection Machine CM-1 before, but damn, the artist Tamiko Thiel knocked it out of the park. Sun Microsystems should have had her consult on their early machines. I bought prints of the Data General Eclipse MV/8000 and the PDP-7, and they now hang near my desk.
