- bArray 4y agoI thought what I wrote was quite clear. They import Chinese workers to do the infrastructure development and the local people receive some small temporary benefit from the net import of Chinese migration. In this case the Chinese workers build skyscrapers that Laos cannot economically make use of using Chinese materials and Chinese workers, and a truck driver in Laos benefited from this as they need more business in the local area. The profits from his work got to the Chinese business owner.
