I was laid off from an over leveraged startup-type company you haven’t heard of. The search so far has been pretty bad. Probably in part because of the timing (a week before thanksgiving, but it’s the same story every time. Any job I want I won’t get and any job I don’t want I can get. I expect things to maybe pick up a little in early December, but I’m honestly kinda defeated. My last job was far from perfect, but I was planning on using to save up the industry afterwards which ofc won’t happen now, at least not in the timeframe I envisioned. Worst case I have to accept a pay cut that will nip those plans very quickly.
