How deep can I define?
- psychoslave 4y agoI explored that at some point, but more to replace non lexical items, such as dot, esperluate, parentheses and so on with relevant lexical terms. Also moving the language to other lexicon than English can be fun, without making necessarily code more obfuscated. Esperanto is wonderful to come with meaningful identifiers, and completing the harmony of code down to keywords is a nice plus. So far, I think that zsh is the one language that let you go the further in this direction, as you can even alias things like disjunctive operator && with for example "eft", apipe operator with something like "that", and even "alias" itself. In C and C++ you can't alias #define if I recall correctly.
