The US-China war which has been ongoing for years, Everything to do with supply chain. Sure, Taiwan/TSMC and TSMC deploying many new fabs all over the world including Japan, Korea, and USA. Obviously very 'chips' related. Not to mention complete US embargo of SMIC. Chips are important but not the full story. September 2021... Russo/Sino war against Ukraine is obviously now accelerating this move for europe. Also why there's so much support for Ukraine from all these western countries. Not to mention China's military attacking India in the north. At least for now it has deescalated and not an ongoing war between india and china. India's military expenditure is crazy; more or less in line with china. They both know what's coming.
