- iggldiggl 4y agoWhich leads to a different problem, because at least a few Android versions ago (or maybe even today?), the emergency call dialler didn't necessarily recognise all the different country-specific emergency numbers. E.g. in Germany the European standard of 112 is only natively used for fire brigade and ambulance, whereas the police's native emergency number is 110 – but you couldn't dial the latter from the lockscreen without unlocking your phone.
- LadyCailin 4y agoFrom a mobile, you can. And anyways, I would actually be even less confident that Google correctly implemented 112 support than 911.
