- Arnt 4y agoI seem to remember that when .eu was introduced, there was a sunrise period during which trademark holders had first rights to domains. And that some free-thinking entrepreneurs reacted by registering trademarks in some of the obscure categories and then using those to claim sought-after domains. There was indeed, googling finds this: https://www.dnforum.com/threads/fnord.124651/ https://www.dnforum.com/threads/fnord.124651/ So… will any of these entrepreneurs register a company called Twitter in Burundi, Brunei or Bhutan and try to get a gold star for the verified account of their bona-fide company?
