Could people just stop whining pointlessly about it? It's Thanksgiving already, Twitter was supposed to implode a long time ago and it seems to be still working great with no problems handling World Cup and from my PoV is most active, vibrant and interesting as it ever was. Musk bought (over-paid) a great network effect with terrible management and terrible employees. All the Twitter was in recent years, was a one big giveaway: to management, employees and ideological friends. There is and has been so much stuff that Twitter could have try, so many potential revenue streams, expansions etc. while it mostly did absolutely nothing, while the company was bleeding out. All they cared about is their ideology and politics. He didn't fail at retaining employees. All he did is quickly get rid of all parasites dissidents and ideological activists, and retain only people that actually will work there and do their job for the company, either because they want to or because they have to. That's how you turn around a culture, and there's no other way. Obviously all parasites are all convinced that they are invaluable and irreplaceable. But the truth is Twitter will technically be just fine. Maybe there will be some instability, maybe some stuff explodes here and there, and that's it. You all are just going to check Twitter later. The only danger to Twitter are their finances. Musk is focused on building companies that are making products and money, not cuddling people who already make many, many multiples of average salaries and have the easiest, most well paid jobs that ever existed. His brutal capitalist approach did not prevent him from managing companies successfully building rockets, batteries, cars, so delivering bunch of Twits will probably be OK too.
