GitHub Copilot Is Down
- ocatgg 4y agome too
- kmoser 4y agoIf only they had some sort of underlying AI that was capable of rewriting code to fix errors.
- chrisandchris 4y agoMaybe they don't know how to fix the issue and Copilot can't help them. They also tried to search Stackoverflow but somehow DNS resolution failed. And now it won't come back up ever again...
- gregoryl 4y agoThey just updated the status page.
- hising 4y agoAccording to status it is running normal, but it seems a lot of users, including myself who are paying users get the error "Thank you for participating in the GitHub Copilot Technical Preview. Your extended access has ended." - I get in both VS Code and JetBrains IDE:s
- zaps 4y agoIt’s a Thanksgiving miracle
- bandyaboot 4y agoFrom the comments: > How am I expected to code and do my job, without an AI doing it for me!? I'm in too deep to go back now!!
- gavinray 4y agoI'm visiting family for the holidays, and tried to explain the situation to my grandmother. When I told her what Copilot does and that it no longer works for me, she said: "Oh, so it's like recipes? I start with an idea of what I want to cook, and I ask Google, and it tells me the ingredients. "Except now you can't look up any ingredients, so you have to cook it from memory." Yes grandma, exactly. Someone turn the recipes back on, please =(
