This was surprisingly worrying to me. I'd been expecting Musk to reinstate everyone notable, and I think this will be a lot worse. I'm assuming the bad list has a long tail of nasty unimportant accounts (I'm assuming a recent example I saw is representative: Username "@nazirape88"). A few notable bad actors I can manually block doesn't directly personally harm me much. A large number of low-effort harassers spamming people I want to read does.

I don't see how letting nazirape88 back is worse than letting Trump or Taylor Greene back on.

  1 Trump is less of an impact on me than 10,000 nazirape88s. It's the difference between Elon reactivating accounts at human pace and just reactivating every one every deactivated at once.
