Student Loan Pause Could Cost $275B
- brookst 4y agoThe article hangs that price on a pause until the end of 2024, which is not data from the WP article they link to. Also holy trickle-up. One of their arguments is that the pause leaves too much money in middle and lower class pockets, which will increase inflation. Presumably the cure for inflation is to tax the bottom half of society into the ground, so they don’t have money to bid up prices? Very odd and disingenuous article.
