I prefer writing by hand. Right now I am studying STAT110 - a free Harvard course - and I am copying the the course book by hand. I have noticed that by the time I get to exercises I have written so many examples that I am better position to solve them. I know it’s nuts. It takes an awful lot of time, but hey, it works.
