I think they're referring to the end result mimicing user input. Right now most cars are "drive by wire" where your pedal input is just one of many factors in the computer's "input by committee" before the final acceleration is sent to the motor controller.
- whatgoodisaroad 4y agoI'm probably referring to the wrong component, yeah, but what I'm imagining is a car with no digital intermediaries between the pedal and the power going through the wheels.
