I'm sure there's an experiment involved somewhere in how this ended up on HN front page. Having seen how bots and spam taken over things with time, I think it'll be a struggle for HN to stay on topic. HN a few years ago was amazing. Today it's still good, but I feel like I'm at a party and a lot of loud people that weren't invited have showed up.
