I mean, I am not a curl developer so I don't get to vote, but restricting variable scopes to loops alone sounds worthwhile to me.
- jmull 4y agoYou can still add a set of curly braces around the loop to scope variables. The syntax isn't as nice, and you have to remember to do it (maybe a linter can help with that) but it ends up more of a "nice to have".
