- _8j50 4y agoI hope I get to see this bullshit changed in my life time. A person who has not been convicted should not be treated like a prisoner. When you are rich and well connected you get a house arrest but not for the common man. There is no reason why the police can't book a person, take their passport/drivers license and place them under house arrest with an ankle monitor, unless they have very good reason to believe the person can cause harm to others.
