Many of us are familiar with the “unhelpful valley” where an incompetent assistant is way more of a drain on your time than having no assistant and simply doing everything yourself. We are decades away from when a computer algorithm can do the job. Alexa barely understands semantic English. I don’t have time for an illiterate assistant to “help” me with anything more than setting timers or reciting the weather.
