- throwawaysleep 4y agoHas any CEO ever been honest about planned layoffs? Having been through layoffs before and having had people suspect it and bring it up in all-hands beforehand, they all lied.
- karp773 4y ago> Twitter's headcount of full-time employees prior to Musk's ownership was about 7,500 people. That number is now down to 2,300 people... The pre-acquisition plan was a 75% layoff, which leaves us at ~1875 people. So still some room for layoffs but he also needs a buffer in case of further volunteer departures. I think they are done with mass layoffs at this point.
