Disgusting. There are millions of uninsured Americans. Saying this will change nothing for Americans is entirely reliant on every single person having insurance, which is untrue.
We need more regulation from the federal government, these greedy medical companies have made too much money already.
- hacym 4y agoIt is disgusting. But I thought that the government was picking up the cost of vaccines? I never once gave them my insurance info for the 4 doses I got, unless they got it some other way. If that is the case, Will uninsured Americans actually see this increase?
- willio58 4y agoIn the article it states the government will no longer be paying for it and the cost will go to the insurance companies. > Until now, all COVID-19 vaccines in the US have been bought by the US government, which paid $30.48 per dose in its latest vaccine supply agreement from June. The US government had previously paid $24 per dose in July 2021 and $19.50 per dose in July 2020. The government offered all the doses to Americans for free. Now, the company expects health insurance companies to pick up the tab, however larger.
- hacym 4y agoAh, got it.
- isitmadeofglass 4y agoActually no. If you are uninsured there are programs to provide it to you free or discounted.
