The truely great games do. I am sure the developers of BOTW were very serious about optimization and you can actually feel that playing the game (on switch). It’s a masterpiece just like doom.
- hbn 4y agoBotW performs well enough, but there's some areas where things get REALLY choppy. It seems like areas with tall grass are the worst for it, most notably Korok forest in front of the Deku tree where you get the Master sword and talk to Hestu.
- HellDunkel 4y agoYes, i know that area. Seems as if the designers insisted on that volume light. :) Its not a combat area so its fine.
