I switched from W10+wsl on my personal desktop to Linux with my most recent upgrade. There were some issues to debug, but it's just been nice to have the OS play nicely in the background and not compete for my attention with ads, service upsells, and account nonsense. I've considered going back for certain programs, but thinking about windows now gives me the same sort of mental hesitation that I get from gas stations with those horrible video ads. It's not a dealbreaker per se, but I would go far out of my way to avoid it.
