I really like that blog layout. Nice images, good layout. Dense! On the article and all her points: I guess the best we can do is pray to the computing gods that everything works out! Everything is working out fantastic for computers. It should not be lost on anyone, that yes, javascript sucks, however I have a rectangle in my pocket with all the information that's every been written (to a large extent) accessible. Whilst I choose to use it for meme's that's more my failing than the computers. Computers do a hell of a lot these days that goes unoticed. Like multi threading. Background tasks, richer more complex styles. Sure computers 30 years ago where fast, but they didn't really have color screens. The architecture complaints seem out of place as well. RISC, CISC and then CSIC on RISC, there's change in the architecture space as well. I don't think the author is considering the timelines that exists. It's been a pretty productive 100 years of computing.
