American units are hilarious. "acre-feet of water" is just the weirdest thing I've read in years.
- ergvgdvgrd 4y agoIt's incredibly intuitive. An adult soccer field is 1.8 acres and a foot is... the size of a man's foot. I can visualize this volume. Meanwhile, an acre foot is 1283 m^3. I don't have intuition for that volume measurement.
