Conclusion: “Airway inflammation and emphysema were more common in marijuana smokers than in nonsmokers and tobacco-only smokers, although variable interobserver agreement and concomitant cigarette smoking among the marijuana-smoking cohort limits our ability to draw strong conclusions.”

- spookie 4y agoI believe that any smoke as a byproduct of combustion will do this. Even more so if that's the only thing you're breathing in for minutes at a time. Just leaving this in as a reminder for anyone. It's not worth it. Don't smoke. Nonetheless, the claims presented shouldn't be comparing both as independent from one another.

- p1necone 4y agoYeah, this conclusion only really tells us anything if marijuana + tobacco smokers generally smoke less tobacco than tobacco only smokers. Otherwise it's no surprise that someone who smokes a pack a day and smokes marijuana is worse off than someone who just smokes a pack a day.
