Might be nice if you can run any script as the "viewer", and set it to do different things for different sections of the config file. So then you could open youtube rss feed items with mpv or youtube-dl, download podcast mp3 files instead of first reading what it's about, etc. With newsboat the scripting always feels a bit icky, even with something like Luke Smith his "linkhandler" script.
