Geothermal goes 24/7. Also don't underestimate winter even in more moderate climates like northern or even central Europe. Sure you'll get some sun, but it's limited to maybe 9 hours and rainy and overcast.
- koheripbal 4y agoGeothermal may not be cyclical like solar, but it's output varies and the wells can easily stop producing at any time. At these depths, the walls collapse regularly. It's like drilling into jello
