Was it worth deleting 270k lines of C++ code?
- JoeAltmaier 4y agoOften re-writing suffers from "It's bigger and was more expensive, but it has different bugs!" That is, nothing good. So many ways it can go wrong - second-system syndrome (RIP Fred Brooks!), missing features, paralysis during planning, fail to launch and on and on.
