There’s so much evidence in support of trans people that one needs only to ask with honesty and be ready to adjust their views. The fact that a community that supposedly prides itself on rationality, and open mindedness is consistently unable to be rational and open minded is beyond me. The GP comment has been fluctuating in upvotes and downvotes, often getting massively up or down voted in the span of minutes. It wouldn’t surprise me if people downvoted some of my other responses here on the basis of this comment. In fact I have seen multiple comments downvoted in a very short timespan.
