- midoridensha 4y agoI don't think it matters much if something is genetically engineered or not. Normal (unmodified) invasive species already cause a lot of damage to ecosystems. From the point-of-view of the damaged ecosystem, it doesn't matter if the invader is GE or perfectly natural; it still doesn't belong there.
