Extracting heat from 10 miles underground, means cooling it. What would the impact of cooling it ? I guess nothing is truly free, even harnessing solar energy comes with a price. I do not know the numbers, they might be negligible. But curious to hear about the potential 1st and 2nd impact.

Earth is way too big to have any significant impact even if we harnessed for millions of years, which we will likely not need.
