I don't doubt that this is what you prefer, but for the foreseeable future it's going to be a heavy and expensive car. You'll be paying a pretty high price to save about 20 minutes on a 10-hour trip. Currently leading solutions for fast road trips are rapid charging or battery swaps, but you will have to stop a couple of times.
