It's less than 1000 words ... How can I say this? Would it not make sense to just /read/ things this short?

  Having read it I'll summarise : * There are multiple news threads at the moment * As a result it's hard to pick just one to blog about * Therefore, this post if an attempt to tackle all of them That might explain why it's hard(er) to follow - it is a bit rambly, but that is partly the point.
