Isn't that the difference between confirming to a schizophrenic that you believe them when they say they hear voices vs pretending that the voices they hear are real?
Not meant as an offensive analogy, trying to understand how it's different. Third party perception won't necessarily match first party perception.
- wahnfrieden 4y agoThat isn’t relevant because it’s not a mental disorder. Your logic would defend holocaust deniers likewise

- yucky 4y agoI'm just stating a fact, there is no reason to get upset or call names. We're all adults here.
- wahnfrieden 4y agoYou’re playing hateful (disguised in civil language) rw culture war games based on fringe talking points which ought to be more unwelcome here. You’re pathetic
- SideburnsOfDoom 4y agoWhile I respect your common-sense position, expressed in the pithy comment above, you are sadly going to fall afoul of the site rules thereby (1) It is probably more useful in the long term to read those rules and suggestions, and learn how to use that system instead. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html
- wahnfrieden 4y agoNo one asked, bootlicker. I know the rules here, and find your days-late reply creepy and unhelpful. Go away.
- SideburnsOfDoom 4y agoI think you have the wrong end of the stick here. You're not going to get what you want by using the F-word, satisfying as it probably is to write.
- wahnfrieden 4y agoDon't care, go away
- SideburnsOfDoom 4y agoNo.
