This summer I made a website to show the closest common ancestors of arbitrary species. The hardest part was to get the tree to look nice. It's still not perfect. A naive approach gives a very wide tree.

- hirenj 4y agoWow, this is a really nice little tool! I usually end up manually traversing Wiki entries to get to this info, so it’s a great shortcut!
- nikodotio 4y agoI worked on a big project showing arbitrary family trees. Collapsing what are actually graphs into visually compact trees is very hard! Nice job
