New Swiss Study:Covid Shots Increase Risk of Myocarditis by X800 in Young Adults
- sfusato 4y ago* Prior to this study, there were no prospective data on post-vaccination myocardial lesions during vaccination with an mRNA vaccine. Only the most serious hospitalized myocarditis have been reported, mainly affecting men under 18 years of age. * The actual incidence of post-vaccination myocardial lesions is 2.8% vs 0.0035% of myocarditis in retrospective studies * Myocardial lesions affect women more — contrary to what is described in previous studies. * The possibility of repeated doses of vaccine in order to maintain effective vaccination coverage should lead to great caution regarding possible repeated myocardial lesions and their impact on possible cardiovascular complications. https://beckernews.com/new-swiss-study-covid-shots-increase-risk-of-myocarditis-by-800-times-in-young-adults-47674/ https://beckernews.com/new-swiss-study-covid-shots-increase-...
- chiefalchemist 4y ago> “In retrospective data, the main cardiac complication is myocarditis, which remains rare with an incidence of 0.0035% and mainly affects young men under 18 years of age.” Statistically speaking, is that percentage significant enough to be worth mentioning? That aside, as it goes on to say, they're only counting severe cases that required hospitalization. Finally, I don't believe it's mentioned whether the sample included those who got Covid or not. The vax doesn't prevent, only ideally mitigate (or so it is said). Perhaps some combination of factors increases myocarditis risks?
- pmoriarty 4y ago"People face a much higher risk of developing myocarditis from Covid infection than the vaccines, according to the Department of Health and Human Services. The risk of myocarditis from Covid is 100 times higher than developing the condition after Covid vaccination, according to a recent paper in Nature Reviews Cardiology."[1] https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/04/though-rare-moderna-covid-vaccine-recipients-have-higher-risk-of-heart-inflammation-than-pfizer.html https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/04/though-rare-moderna-covid-va...

- mrkramer 4y agoAlso when taking a shot, don't take in the left hand because left hand is closer to the heart than the right hand and therefore your chance of myocarditis increases.
