Restoring my Commodore P50 calculator with a little solder and a 3D printer
- libpcap 4y agoImpressive that this is made in Hong Kong: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIUo36pxXVbnqMI_EKzfqoaAHGuoNjJyR4CCYXm-td7C3ywCkCCwmcrG1Sg7R6wR6hFO4UUwyzfOWEh9RHleDAJDr1NZ4evoGoNfkiE2pWfBzmdDmwlorgZ2ZqxnphjcYFg2jKslkIRBwdCDOwWb4iN9Qhdhx3pqJiE11cvdWZwQIMsi-kbsU/s2599/commodore1.jpg https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi...
- nikau 4y agoHong Kong used to be the equivalent of China for cheap production, hence the top gun quote of 'flying rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong' in the original 80s movie
- WalterBright 4y agoVery nice! I wish I could fix my old TI scientific calculator (circa 1975). If you turn it on, random LED segments flash, until it freezes up. Sigh. It was a good doggie.
- jgrahamc 4y agoI bet it can be. Does it use NiCd batteries?
- WalterBright 4y agoIt used a custom electronic battery a EE made for me after the custom nicd one died.
