Why don't they use nitrogen gas? Because they want executions to be painful?
- gonzo41 4y agoThere's lots of guns in America. I don't support the death penalty, but not using the simplest method really seems like they are going out of their way to make it cruel.
- Ptchd 4y agoWith pure nitrogen, you become unconscious in about 15 seconds ... without any pains
- Gibbon1 4y agoI think the last execution by firing squad in Utah had the Janitors and guards flat refusing to clean up the mess. All I got to say is if you sentence a man to life in prison it's done then and there.
- bombcar 4y agoDig a deep enough hole and you don't have anything to clean up except with a backhoe.
- a9h74j 4y agoNot endorsing the death penalty, but same question. NPR just had a report on PTSD in prison employees and witnesses participating in executions.
