Moody's withdraws Twitter's ratings due to insufficient information (11/18/22)
- vba616 4y ago"The ratings have been disclosed to the rated entity or its designated agent(s) and issued with no amendment resulting from that disclosure. These ratings are solicited."
- WantonQuantum 4y agoLet's see how Elon goes bullying Moody's.
- vba616 4y agoThe reason I submitted this wasn't because I need more schadenfreude, but because I'm getting an increasing sense of unreality from what I read about the situation, and my reaction to Moody's was - this, this is real. These are sane adults, making an assessment that the situation is crazy without shrieking about it. It's not that they have any levers to affect Twitter's trajectory, it's just a reminder that there is an objective reality beyond the control of either fans or haters who sometimes seem to me like participants (bots, trolls?) in the same charade.
- rolenthedeep 4y agoThose gooddamn activists are at it again, trying to make Elon look bad!
- lelandfe 4y agoI was curious how often this happens. Turns out: a bunch. Withdraws in 2022: https://www.google.com/search?q=site:moodys.com/research+intitle:%22withdraws%22&tbs=cdr:1,cd_min:1/1/2022&filter=0&dpr=2 https://www.google.com/search?q=site:moodys.com/research+int...
