I didn't manage to transcribe anything (it just doesn't remember that I submitted anything), but whatever, I didn't need to anyway. I just wanted to ask: how good is Whisper with non-english? At least "major" ones, like, German, French, Russian, Spanish?
- stefan_ 4y agoI've been using it on lots of Russian stuff and it's great, even translates for you.
- jerpint 4y agoI’ve tried it on French and results were pretty good
- mayeaux 4y agoI've got people to test and usually with the 'medium' and 'large' models it works really efficiently. Honestly, I just use the large model for everything, because might as well have the best quality if you're going to do the effort.
