AWS Discontinues Wickr Me
- someNameIG 4y agoDid Wickr Me have very many users? The only times I've really heard of it was to do with people using it for drugs and issues with CSAM.
- sorenjan 4y agoI've also only heard about less than legal use cases, mainly drugs. It surprised me AWS kept it running this long, although I was surprised they bought it to begin with. I wonder what will take its place, Signal still wants users' phone numbers which probably won't be what drug dealers want to do.
- someNameIG 4y agoSnapchat maybe? Don't think it's encrypted but doesn't need a phone number and messages disappear
- rvz 4y agoWho? Another complete failure of a service that little to no one uses.
