Interesting part:
> #7. Investment of funds
> We clarify how we hold funds before making payouts to you. In accordance with applicable law (including our safeguarding obligations) and subject to regulatory oversight, Stripe may invest funds held in pooled accounts into secure, liquid investments. Importantly, our payout obligations to you remain unchanged and will not be impacted by potential investments.
The current version of Stripe Services Agreement states:
> 5.2 Investment of Funds.
> To the extent Law and the applicable Financial Services Terms permit, Stripe and its Affiliates may invest the funds that they hold into liquid investments. Stripe or its applicable Affiliate owns the earnings from these investments. You irrevocably assign to Stripe or its applicable Affiliate all rights you have (if any) to earnings from these investments.
We generally perform a monthly payout from Stripe to our bank account. Stripe allows more regular payouts, but that's the easiest for us and requires minimal effort for our accountant. I feel like this is a rather common practice. Now, I'm kind of curious how much Stripe earns from placing all these funds.
