I'm not really surprised. I have studied in Austria and in Denmark. Both countries use lecture slots of ~120min. In Austria there is no break during the slot.

I'm not really surprised. I have studied in Austria and in Denmark. Both countries use lecture slots of ~120min. In Austria there is no break during the slot. But in Denmark they have a ~10min break after the first hour. For me, this 10min break was the most impactful pedagogical experience I ever had. Usually, my brain would shut off at around 70min. Missing almost half of the lecture while in Austria. In comparison, I never had issues to focus while in Denmark.
