- nunodonato 4y agoreally? Do people hire PAs to do their actual job? doesn't that conflict with the concept of what an assistant is? not saying the idea isn't great, but if we focus on those, it's harder to focus on what is achievable and helpful right now (considering where AI capabilities are)
- gtvwill 4y agoWell company directors hire people to do jobs. You could call any employee underneath them a PA. They're all helping to get the job done. Everybody is providing assistance to someone else. If you break down my o.g comment a bit more tbh lots of it is achievable if not already existing in the market it just needs to be tied together and developed a bit further. Speech to text, Text interpretation, Systems configuration, coding & app building. I'm sure I've missed plenty but you get the gist. Definitely achievable.
- nunodonato 4y agoyes all those "pieces" are working today, but its a long stretch until you put them all together to work with such a command. Besides would you trust some AI bot with your github code? I've worked a lot with OpenAI codex, its amazing, but far from reaching that kind of achievements. I still don't fully agree with your definition of a PA. An employee underneath is not a PA, the nature of the job itself is different.
