Twitter/TikTok/other social media needs to be more friendly small creators
- sharemywin 4y agoTo me it seems like unless you have a million followers your stuff gets buried so what's the point.
- gus_massa 4y agoDo you go usually to https://news.ycombinator.com/newest https://news.ycombinator.com/newest ? HN is much smaller, so it's possible to review the titles of all post. Spoiler alert: there is a lot of crap, but from time to time there is some hidden gem that deserves an upvote before it disappears in the void. Pleat take a look when you hace some fee time. Twitter/TikTok are much bigger, so a raw faucet is probably horrible. (An the topic much wider, so many good post are not interesting for you.)
- cweill 4y agoThere's no cabal keeping small creators small. Small creators need to make better content, i.e. provide value to their audience, and they will grow. Making content isn't about sharing every little thought. It's about being consistent, finding a niche, and providing value. It's just like running a business.
