- Havoc 4y agoI bet the SEC is thinking “not this guy again”
- mikeyouse 4y agoNo payroll, tax, compliance, legal, finance? Just needs some crypto sprinkled in and he can run FTX 2.0!
- dougmwne 4y agoYou jest, but I would not be surprised if he launched a few twitcoins.
- nprateem 4y agoHe's probably going to buy up a load of dogecoin then pump it by saying it'll be accepted on the site, and use the profits to keep the lights on for a while
- devoutsalsa 4y agoIt’s time to hard fork ELON BUYS TWITTER and start pumping the new ELON BOUGHT TWITTER. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/elon-buys-twitter/ https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/elon-buys-twitter/
- fbdab103 4y agoThe Big Four are licking their lips at the thought of swooping in at hazard pay to the tune of hundreds of accountants.
- pjc50 4y agoDon't need a financial reporting team if you're not going to make it to the end of the tax year.
- christophilus 4y agoFTX has entered the chat: "I concur."
- GreekLegends 4y agoThe source is a random tweet. It's incredible to see people consume such propaganda wholesale. There seems to be a derangement when it comes to Elon Musk, people will literally believe anything. Millions of people last week ACTUALLY BELIEVED that Elon Musk shut down the the microservice responsible for 2FA. The source of that story was also a random tweet.

- voakbasda 4y agoYou say that like we trust the press to be objective and thorough when researching and presenting a topic.
- r721 4y agoI meant it's not a "random tweet" from anon. As for "like we trust the press to be objective" you are free to trust whoever you want, but I have seen what "anti-MSM" people share in their uncensored places, and that's no better than mainstream journalism at all.
- nemo44x 4y agoIt doesn’t matter. They aren’t public anymore and Elon Musk has tons of finance and tax people across his business empire. You think a guy worth hundreds of billions doesn’t have a team of finance people?
- cedilla 4y agoNot op, but I actually don't think that a guy who apparently likes to trim the fat has a bunch of finance people around who have enough free time to do payroll and reporting for a 44 billion dollar company that was just acquired and is in the process of letting go thousands of employees.
- int_19h 4y agoA better question is whether he's going to listen to those people anymore so than he listened to the engineers.
