"Undermining" has an intentional feel to it, which I doubt is the case. More likely, Elon, a deeply insecure, emotionally underdeveloped, narcissistic man-child, was "forced" to buy twitter (in his mind), and then immediately ridiculed and teased for his haphazard stewardship, all of which is entirely too much for a person like him (there are many) to endure, so he's flailing, and will continue to do so until twitter is nothing more than a dead bird at the bottom of a cage. Then he'll claim it was his plan all along because he can't cope with the concept that he isn't the supreme intellect in the galaxy. For anyone out there confused by Elon's behavior, imagine how a toddler reacts when you tell them "no" and it'll all start to make sense. I feel sad for all of the people affected by the actions of this emotionally fragile agent of chaos.
