A friend of mine was telling me about some Twitterati whinging about "the pain" of switching from Twitter to (e.g.) Mastodon, and I had to stop him. At moments like these I'm always reminded of the Jetsons arguing over who's going to push the button to make dinner. You don't even have to get out of your chair!? And, again, this is only a problem in the first place because they voluntarily gave their agency to a corporation that doesn't have their interests at heart.
