One time I ran into someone who ran a consulting firm in the Bay Area at a meet up who told me that Onewheel had raised capital but had horrendous engineering when they came to this consultant. The consultants turned it into a product that could be sold. I don’t know how true the story is, but whenever Onewheel comes up, I revisit that conversation, wondering if what that consultant said was true.
