You're right, I completely forgot the digital delivery fee.
It's, if I remember correctly, $0.15 per megabyte, rather than a flat $0.35. So this can be significant for books with lots of images.
- aristus 15y agoFWIW, my book is 3.something MB. I don't care that much, though most people assume that revenue splits come after costs. It turns out that most/all book contracts give everyone's cuts out of the retail price, then costs. The rest, if any, goes to the author.
