- rramadass 4y agoUpvoted; Everybody should follow this advice for everything. For some reason people don't even take the first step of applying for a job they want/like just because it lists "X years of experience needed". This is never ever a hard requirement. Most companies try to over provision or are completely clueless about their needs. So don't doubt your abilities, be clear about where you stand and what you want and finally be willing to negotiate both on Salary and Position to get/do what you want.
